Construction foreman stands for a photo in the job site

Construction photography is an interesting art form. It’s all about capturing the progress of a project, from start to finish. When done well, it can be really impressive to see the transformation that takes place. Pomerleau is one of the top construction companies in Canada, and they recently asked me to capture some photos of their work. I was happy to oblige! In this blog post, I’ll share some of my favorite shots from the photo shoot. Enjoy!

Over the past year I have photographed numerous construction sites for Pomerleau. In these construction photographs, I wanted to give a sense of the real people who work on these large building projects. This particular project is for Sheridan College in Mississauga.

Construction Photography in Mississauga

Mississauga is a city in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. It is situated on the shores of Lake Ontario in the Regional Municipality of Peel, with a population of 828,854. Mississauga is a prosperous city and one of the major urban centres in the Golden Horseshoe region. The city has a strong economy with a diversity of sectors, including construction, manufacturing, retail, transportation, and healthcare. As a result, Mississauga is an ideal place for construction photography. Construction photography captures the process of building and constructing structures. It can be used to document the progress of a project, or to showcase the final product. Construction photography is a challenging but rewarding field, and Mississauga offers ample opportunities for construction photographers like me to capture stunning images.

Working at heights can be dangerous, but it’s often necessary to photograph construction work. There are a few things you can do to stay safe when working at heights. First, always use proper safety equipment, including a harness and tether if you’re working on scaffolding or another elevated platform. Second, take care to secure any loose items that could fall and injure someone below (cameras and gear, need to be tied off). And third, always be aware of your surroundings and plan your movements carefully to avoid accidentally stepping off the edge. By following these simple safety guidelines, you can help reduce the risks associated with working at heights.

Construction workers are some of the hardest working people in the world. They often work long hours in all weather conditions, and their job requires a great deal of physical labor. construction workers typically do not receive much formal education, but they must be skilled in many different areas. In addition to operating heavy machinery, construction workers must also be able to read blueprints and follow complex instructions. As a result, construction workers must be both strong and intelligent. Although their job is often difficult, construction workers play an essential role in society by building homes and office buildings where we live and work. Without them, our world would look very different.

For many businesses, construction is a necessary but complicated process. The average client can have difficulty in differentiating which construction firm to hire.

That’s where commercial photography comes in. By documenting the construction process with regular photos, businesses can get a clear sense of the construction company’s progress.

Construction businesses can use commercial construction pictures to create marketing materials. Also, by documenting the construction of a new office building or retail space, businesses can generate interest and excitement before the doors even open. As a result, commercial photography can be an essential tool for businesses that are undergoing construction, as well as the construction companies that build these projects.

As a Toronto photographer, I really enjoy photographing construction. I get a unique perspective on what is involved in building high rise towers. It is always a pleasure to work with the many companies, like Pomerleau, who are literally building Canada. I have had the privilege of working with some of the most talented and skilled workers in the world, and it has been an amazing experience to witness the construction of these massive structures. I am grateful to have been able to capture these moments and share them with others.
