Defining Yourself as a Photographer
Yesterday I had the privilege of presenting at the Winnipeg South Photo Club to about 40 photographers. The talk consisted on finding your inspiration and more importantly what makes you different. Topics included composition, influences, and technique just to name a few. Aside from only engaging the audience we also went through examples of my photographic work. Also, the processes it took to produce said artwork.
The talk was a hit and we ended up with a very engaged audience. I find that I enjoy speaking about photography almost as much the act of photography itself.
