The Process:

Pre-Shoot

Conducting a successful high-end lighting photography shoot for Louis Poulsen involved meticulous planning and execution to capture the essence of their lighting designs. The process began with a thorough brief between our team and our client to understand the goals of the shoot, including specific products to showcase, desired artistic effects, and the intended atmosphere of the images.

In addition to capturing all of the lighting they installed at this home, the client wanted us to feature some of the statement pieces. Particularly in the foyer, dining room and living room, making sure we emphasized the textures of the pieces as well as how the light worked in the space.

Shoot Day

On the day of the shoot, a combination of natural and artificial lighting techniques were employed to showcase how the fixtures interact with their surroundings. We used high-resolution cameras and various lenses to capture a range of perspectives, ensuring that both the design and functionality were represented.

Attention to detail is paramount; elements such as timing—especially during golden hour for optimal natural lighting—were carefully managed and can be noticed during the exterior shots.

Post-Shoot

Post-shoot, the images underwent advanced editing to enhance clarity and vibrancy while maintaining authenticity. Colour and light adjustments were made to accurately represent the visual experience of each fixture, ensuring a true depiction of Louis Poulsen’s craftsmanship.
