Banff National Park     

It’s easy to be overwhelmed by the vast expanse of beauty when you first arrive in Banff National Park. Imagine over 6,600 square kilometres of pristine blue lakes, majestic mountains, picturesque valleys, ice fields and forests, and you will have a good idea of the views and sensory experiences that will await you. If you are lucky enough to visit this national treasure, you are bound to come away with unforgettable life experiences. I know from my personal experience, that the wilderness areas of this site can quite literally take your breath away. The scenery can be exhilarating and yet also provide a deep sense of serenity.

Banff National Park is best known for the presence of the western portion of the majestic Rocky Mountains, a Unesco World Heritage Site. This National Park has long been coveted by tourists for its ski slopes, hiking trails, ice fields, wildlife and hot springs. Unsurprisingly, artists have spent the last 135 years trying to capture the beauty of this National Park in a variety of art forms.
