The skyline of Toronto changes quickly. New buildings being built always changing.
The Toronto skyline is always changing. The is a never ending relentless stream of new buildings being built all the time. In some ways, as a photographer, this is a great opportunity because you are likely to get a picture that is unique each time. In a sense, you are photographing history. We all want our work to mean something. Here are images of the Toronto skyline taken in July of 2018.
All of these images of Toronto were taken at sunset from Polson Pier. The great thing about photographing buildings just before and after sunset is that you get a great range of light. We can make the images look like the middle of the night or if the way shot in the day light. Often the best time to photograph architecture is either in the early morning or early evening - sunrise and sunset, and shortly before and after.
If one were to look at the above map, we are going to see that Toronto, has a lot of great vantage points of the downtown area. The fact that there is obscured points, island and peninsulas, gives many options a photographer to photograph the Toronto landscape.
If you would like to license any of these as Toronto Stock Photography, feel free to send me a message. You can license these images of Toronto here.
