Objective:

Why is a Warehouse Video Beneficial for Samuel, Son & Co?

Primarily, the warehouse video served as a dynamic tool for showcasing the company’s extensive facilities, cutting-edge technology, and skilled workforce. The Process:

Pre-Production

This initial phase was centered around strategic planning and coordination. We conducted a meeting with Samuel, Son & Co.’s marketing team to understand their objectives, brand message, and the key features of the warehouse to be highlighted.

A general storyboard was developed to outline the warehouse video’s structure and content, ensuring a seamless flow. Additionally, we had visited the facility previously for a large photography project, so we already had a comprehensive understanding of the site itself. We noted optimal filming locations, areas to avoid, as well as areas that may require additional lighting etc.

Filming

For this particular project, we utilized our cinematic DJI Inspire II drone. We wanted the aerial vantage point to be able to showcase the scale of the operation, as well as film dynamic shots of the intricate machinery.

Special attention was paid to illustrating the technological advancements Samuel, Son & Co. has integrated into its processes. The production team worked closely with warehouse staff to coordinate filming, minimizing any disruption to the day-to-day operations while ensuring authentic depictions of the workforce in action.

Post-Production

In the post-production phase, the raw footage was meticulously edited to craft a compelling narrative that aligns with Samuel, Son & Co.’s branding and objectives. The editing process included typical things like colour correction, stabilization, as well as song selection to reflect the vibe of the video and how Samuel wanted to be represented.

The final video was reviewed in collaboration with Samuel, Son & Co. representatives to ensure it met their expectations and accurately represented their brand.
